After engineering studies crowned by a PhD, a few years of scientific research in the United States and a year backpacking across Asia, I joined the medical technology industry, where one thing led to another and I ended up running a small company.

But with my sixties in sight, the call of the mountains became too strong. After training as a mountain leader and earning the Swiss federal certificate, which allows me to guide on alpine hiking routes (T4) and abroad, I left the corporate world to devote myself to guided hiking. And since happiness is only real when shared, I would like my passion to become your pleasure. Creating bright memories for you, in complete safety: that is my goal today.

I am also a member of the Bureau des Guides des Alpes Vaudoises (Vaud Alps guides' office), for which I work regularly, and a hiking tour leader with the Swiss Alpine Club.
